So long as no one sees/uses "Teufel", "Oni", "Demonio", "Yao Mo", or anything like that as a name... >_>;; So terribly overused, and incorrectly. Even though "Yao Mo", with the correct accent marks, sounds really cool. XD;

Oh I never use words from other languages unless I know the means or I believe it's something I made up in the style of that culture. I always make sure that the word's meaning fits the character, like Teufel means devil I believe, or something close. ^-^;

Nachttopf, I only understood the nacht part. xD I'm such a stupid American. >w>;

Haha, I know German enough to know what words I'm using - I'm naming my characters purposely with German words, lmao.

Demon/fiend/devil and angel/light/god are the words I hear far too often in a variety of languages that people pick for names. And the person just picked it because they like the concept or it's their "favourite" word to use from a language, but it hardly fits the character or the name scheme of the setting, not even in an ironic sense. Actually doing it intentionally is totally different. XD I just... first thing that comes to mind is the pet peeve.

Didn't think anyone pulled that, but it sparked the thought. XD ...Although "Nachttopf" would be a great name for a character based on a dung beetle.
