Thorn Contest (CLOSED)

Going to be doing a Contest based around Thorn. Cuz he ish my fav... can you tell? XD

Here are some simple guidelines.
Draw or Write something about Thorn. Can be by himself or with others. (your characters or mine)
Doing anything you want him to.
PM me or post any questions you here and I will try to answer with as much clarity as I can. but please be specific with your questions.
Adult art/writing are allowed. Adult constitutes Nudity and Sex. Implied still counts as normal art. Post here or you can post in the Gallery and post the link to that thread here.
Working with a partner is allowed as long as you both do equal an amount of work on the entry. No one side-ers please.
ie: Someone else does the art and you turn it in. Not allowed! Must be 50/50.


First Prize Art Winner gets: A Tablet drawing of their character of equal value. So if more than Thorn is involved you get two of your characters. Etc...
First Prize ADULT Winner: Same but with Adult content. X3
First Prize Fic Winner gets: A colored Tablet drawing of their character. (possibly two characters)

Now if I find I have more time come the end of the contest. Second place winners in all categories can have either a full body Tablet sketch or Colored Chibi.
And if there is plenty of time third place gets sketch chibis.


DEADLINE: Extending

This is a free range contest. Yes we all know I love to abuse Thorn. But I also like to make him happy and content... just you don't always get to see those. X3 But I love being surprised. :3 So you can do whatever the hell you want with him!

Yes, I finished it! Man, Thorn is hard to write and the topic I chose was more appropriate for him from my point of view. Well, any other variants just didn't play further, so here is my entry, Peanut.) I dug into Thorns head a bit, I hope you don't mind. By the way, it's spooky there. DB I need something white and fluffy now - someone, give me a kitten! 0_o

Seven Deadly Thorns

Wrath

It is like a trigger. One moment he feels a slight irritation at a comment, laugh or unsuccessful joke or tease. And next moment he finds himself covering in fear, the blood coating his arms and the breathless corpse lying under his feet. Twisted, mangled, crushed.
Broken for one unfortunate joke...
And somewhere in between this ill-fated irritation and horror Thorn remembers how life pulsed away from the prey's body through his hands and into nowhere.
And he can't help the ghostly, creeping delight when the trigger goes off again.

Envy & Greed

He watches as beautiful lithe Hyme laughs and smiles, circling around that cursed Locun who took Humina away from him, literally. He hates him for this. He hates him for all attention he has from the Hyme.
Thorn clenches his teeth, claws leaving deep scratches in a bark of the tree he hides in.
It is not fair! He was to take that Hyme first!
He hates the Locun for all the love and smiles Humina gives him. He should be getting this love. He should be having this attention for him and him alone!
The Locun grins as he wraps his lower arms around Humina's waist and spins him around playfully. Hyme laughs in glee and smiles again.
Thorn growls, one part of him is hissing an order to come out and take the beauty that belongs to him. And the other makes him stand still on his place and still hate the Locun.
For he managed to bring back this caring and gorgeous smile that Thorn took away for himself...

Lust
He loves Humina, right?
He must be.
He wants him. To have him all, to breath this intoxicating fresh scent of innocence and flowers all the time, to see adoration in those deep pure eyes, to feel the pleasure, diving in this gentle vessel.
So yes, he loves him.
But why is Humina scared?
"Z’ztay awwwaiie…pleazze…" the tender Hyme begs and Thorn feels something is wrong. Those beautiful eyes full of tears and hurt, wings quivering slightly, the body is weakened and bruised.
And still untouched.
Thorn makes a step ahead and Humina takes step back.
"Noooo! Doooount touuch thizzz one!" he exclaims and suddenly through the haze of his burning desire Thorn gets what is wrong.
Hyme's voice sounds broken.
One note is missing, like one crack is breaking the vessel apart.
But it doesn't matter. Because Thorn loves him.
Thorn licks his lips and reaches out with his hand to grab Humina. The Hyme shrieks in fear.
But Thorn loves him. And he will make him love Thorn back.
It's easy. Loment said that.
But then something blue comes into his view and before a powerful strike gets him thrown on the ground, head pounding and mind darkening, he sees a blue female Scarabin, glaring at him in deep disgust. And Humina, looking with the same deep hurt feeling in those eyes.
Betrayal.
Thorn let out a roar, trying to get up and charge at his sudden attacker, but a merciless hit sends him falling again with only one thought in his painful mind.
He doesn't love Thorn.
But it doesn't matter.

Sloth
Step, step, step.
Webs, webs, webs…
He knew everything in this place. Every detail, every string, every glimpse of the set of eyes, peering out of the darkness. He knew.
And now he was bored. The Hyme stopped and glared aside
His Arachins weren't paying at him attention at all. Loment has gathered them together in a webbed corner, explaining something in his native language, his hissing tone present even in those clicking sounds. Sherbet was giggling occasionally, while Legume was narrowing his eyes in a silent smirk.
Thorn certainly felt left out.
He could change it - he could demand to stop this chat immediately and attend him. And they would.
But suddenly he didn't felt the wosh to do so. He didn't want to do anything. An empty feeling filled him, as the Arachins chatter kept flowing in the air. Without actual words turned to him he felt...so apathic.
Thron staggered lazily to his bedding and plopped down, half-closing his eyes and enveloping himself in his mindless state.
Fine. He will wait. No need to yell at them now. They adore him so much anyways.
Loment paused, casting a glance at his toy, which was now lying in the corner, temporary forgotten by his owner. A wicked smile touched his lips and he purred with delight.
Poor tool won't have to wait for long.

Gluttony
Life...Pulsing, trembling, dripping, beautiful life. Draining away from the breath, eyes and other's skin. Draining away with the blood.
Somewhere in between the anger and fear Thorn knew he won't stop admiring it.
He wanted more. He always wanted more. And he had more. It was only natural.
But now he was gasping, shivering and whimpering, as a deep ugly wound was pulsing in his adomen, dark blood flowing free and he only one to witness it. And no one to help. No Loment, no other Arachins.
It wasn't natural.
Thorn crawled back, rasping and clutching at the wound..
He didn't admire it.
He didn't want it.
But there was no one to stop it.

Vanity
"You ssshould be proud with yourself " Loment hisses adoringly, hanging upside down from his webbing "You do nosssing wrong. They don't ressspect you - you punisssh them. It'sss what the strongessst do. And you are...." he tilts his head in the one fluid movement, smiling seductively "The ssstrongest. Keep it up...No need to cover. Let everyone feel your ssuperiority...Your" he almost presses his forehead to Thorns, who is sitting on his throne "Potential..." the Arachin breathes out in almost sultry way.
Thorn smiles, his chin resting in his crossed hands.
At the beginning he was uncomfortable to hear it. To actually be there, to sit on the throne, the worshipping Arachins made for him. But every time this hissing voice erased his awkwardness, soothes his pain, cleared him the way to see...
And now he likes it.

*runs around in a merry circle squealing spazztically*

*blink*
