There was a subtle hissing, slightly sputtering sound that harolded the massive cloud of caustic smoke before it exploded into the small work room and out the windows, which had been open much to Wolf's thankfulness seeing as he was at the moment diving out the open space and into fresh air with a loud swear or to. Rolling up onto his feet he turned to face the building that was functioning as both home and workshop with a clicking hiss. The beige and black spider sneered at the smoke filtering off into the atmosphere and adgusted the gogles over his eyes. Blue light lickering behind the lenses and brushed the dirt off his shoulders and out of his orange hair. Gazing down at the shirt he wore, he sighed heavily at the singe mark on his stomach and shook his head, that damned bomb was really kicking his ase this time around.

Well it was obvious he'd need replacment parts and it really didn't do him much good to put the trip to town off so with a roll of hidden eyes he started the trek to the market, soot still clinging to his arm, knee and cheek, he looked a mess but didn't really give a damn. If he wasn't covered in something like that, it was a boring day.
The arachin tilted his head to the side, eyeing a few stalls from a distence, going over a mental list of what he'd need so he wouldn't have to come back here right away, he didn't do well with people, lack of experience and all that.
Adjusting the belt holding a small side pouch, which aside from his odd little hip suspender apperatice was the only thing holding his knee length pants up he took a painstaking step into the town square and proceded to the first stall.

Much to the hassle of the clerk he stood about spending a good amount of time finly inspecting each part he meant to buy, it was a task and a half to pass cheap parts by him, and he was rather ticked when some tried, thinking he didn't know what he was talking about, so he waved the pudgy old piller away for the second time as he examined a small gog , tuneing dials on his gogles once or twice.

A soft hum left the green, yellow, white and pink hermaphrodite as a small child burbled, clinging to his back with the aid of a small harness that kept her there. She was still an infant, but she was too large to carry in his arms for an extended amount of time. So, he had one of the leatherworkers in the hive fashion him a wool-lined harness he could carry his daughter around in over his shoulders, her head cushioned by his mane of white fur, and her legs supported on the sides by his wings.

What was he doing in the market today with his young scarabin-hyme daughter, without her father, or her other father? Fife was busy with Alkali, Rescen's own father, discussing something along the lines of land-arrangements, probably trying to get a bit of land near the hive so he could move his own household here. Noments was being held captive by Nescire, who was teaching the Weta fighting maneuvers. Technically, Rescen himself was supposed to be at home, taking care of Aria, and handling small issues the people of the Kingdom of Zeph had.

But no, he wanted Aria to see the outside world for what it was, so he picked up the harness, trussed her up comfortably, and set out. He was able to fly with her in tow, though not for long. She was having fun, he could tell that much, for she was never still, always cooing and looking about, moving her elytra covers under the harness, though she still had no wings inside of the protective barriers.

Suddenly, she pointed at one covered, fancy stall, gurgling happily.
"You want to go in there, honey? Alright, we'll see if we can find you anything." he hummed cheerily, turning to it and ducking under the flap that kept out their smaller cousins, little pesky insects that were too far primal to evolve like themselves.

Now, a prince like himself could purchase just about anything he wanted, if he so ordered it, but he didn't like doing that, so he did have limits with a set amount of money. Though, on occasion his mother and himself came out with an unfathomable amount of currency, and bought several things, from several stores to boost morale and economy. He continued to hum softly, picking up random baubles, and when Aria showed interest in them, he let her see them, though replaced several items before she could snatch them.

Out of the corner of his eye, as he held a particular spherical object with small rounded marbles inside to make noise up to Aria over his shoulder. A tall arachin figure with... quite the odd looks was milling around. But Rescen hadn't seen this character before, and he looked friendly enough. Aria grabbed the sphere from his hand, and promptly stuffed part of the massive thing in her mouth, though she could hardly even get her mouth over a quarter of it.

He merely sighed, rolled his eyes, and plucked it from her mouth, rubbing it on his mane to dry.
"I guess we can buy you this," he murmured, glancing at the price. Not much, for something so complex seeming. His gaze returned to the arachin that was browsing. Should he go and say hello?

Assignments outside of the decidedly bleak Continent of Grimm were few and far between. Thankfully, this job was just a routine check-up on both Hemlock's own, personal, shops and stalls, inventory, and what have you. But, the heavily clothed Mosquito was also checking on his own Businesses, asking questions of the keepers, and seeing if anything had been created, done different, or more efficiently than he had done himself! After all, learning never stops; and unlike the Fool he worked for, he understood this almost unto entirety. If one learnt a better way, if one made more profit or, one made more product by factor of another system; he would use it himself. It made, fucking, sense.

But, he'd been finished for most of the day; actually, he wasn't due back in Grimm for another two months thanks to his estimate in both time consumption and of course the fact that he had to travel back (Truth be told it'd take less time back than getting here but that's beside the point). He can only enjoy himself for now; his happy humming of something akin to song though the meaning of such a happy tune would be lost to anyone save those from near his homeland on the most northern edge of the northern most continent...

Although the building that apparently is on fire causes him to pause; song and all... His head tilting and that masked beak tapping against his shirt before; decidedly, he scuttles off in another direction.

He doesn't need to be blamed for this.

At anyrate he'd almost walked right into the pole of a shop just some ways away; his large, gloved hand catching the pole even as he mutters a surprised utterance in his low, buzzing voice. Though, too low to be heard. However, upon seeing gears gadgets, widjits, whatsits and whosits... He just smiles under that mask before almost stumbling over himself and falling; and by fall I mean flailing, into the ground and ramming that beaked mask into the dirt...

"Ahndzzzz I thoughtazzzz to dayzzz wazzzzz goink to be dullzzz.... Fuckmylife.... Huhhhhh...."

Well, we can definately see why Mozko was obviously not a threat to anyone at the moment... Poor Bugger....

But, he's getting up; but, the mask; kind've, wishes to stay in the ground. So; with titanic effort he pulls up; counter balancing himself again and flopping backwards on his arse; th' poor man seems to have no luck; his hat had fallen off and his mask untied....

And his horridly scarred face is shown; dark blue scars marring his soft blue flesh; apparently a haphazard bundle along his 'nose' as it were and down his lips; each a deep furrow into his skin even as more are seen from below those. Most aren't fresh; though a few still seep a bit of his brackish ichor. He seems a bit dazed, those eyes, a brilliant, toxic, hue of green are dulled for the moment even as those decidedly arachin ears are flubbed a bit to the side. He's not got any sort of luck; poor man, but from the looks of it; he might have attracted everyone's attention on the subject of his balance... Because he sure as hell has a lot of staring individuals...

A... lot of staring individuals....

Wolfram paused a moment, flicking his hidden gaze up at the small child strapped to the back of what he could only asume, based on what he could was its mother. The blue light in his gogles dimmed a moment as he flicked a switch on them which narrowed the shutters inside and turned off the magnifying portion before the glow flared back to life. The infant was odd but cute and seemed harmless enough, by way of not pitching a fit and screaming, chomping as she was on a small speherical object.
The arachin flashed the baby a smile and waggled his upper legs at her a moment before turning back to the set of gears in his hands, which seemed to be of good quality.

Turning them over once more he plucked another slightly smaller one from the display cloth to add to the growing asortment of his before dropping some coin down, fully ignoring the clerk. He knew he'd paid the right amount, which wasn't even questioned, he just never got along with this guy. Pocketing his purchase he turned and fell short in his step as a masked figure toppled over onto the ground only to pick themselves up and fall back again.

Wolf waffled for a moment before reaching down and plucking up the hat which was landed in the dirt, giving it a brush off and moving forward some. The other male had an unusual way of speaking, one he hadn't heard before. "Hey, you...ok?" He questioned holding the wide brimed hat out along with his free hand to offer the male help up.

Aria babbled again as Rescen made the purchase - the store owner was more than happy to try and chat him up, once the owner had realized who this gold green and white-fuzzed, pink-winged hyme was, but Rescen wasn't going to have it. He bought the bauble, let Aria grab at it as she wished, and turned, heading out the store, for he had heard a commotion. The spider had disappeared, too, and something seemed to be the center of attention just outside the store's flap of a door.

He looked, and noticed a red figure - after a long moment of investigation, he noted the man to be of a ptyregon classification, or that's what he could figure. The reason the figure, male, was red, was due to a long coat the male had donned, covering the most of his body. What Rescen could see was a currently un-masked blue face, marred, scarred and ragged from scars he could not even begin to fathom the origins of.

Though that made the prince wonder - what adventures had the bug been in that caused his face to be so.... abnormal? He shook his thoughts of it, and investigated further, seeing the spider Aria had pointed out earlier in front of the red figure seeming to offer help. He should probably do the same...But something held him back. Something didn't feel quite right about that ptyregon. He couldn't tell what it was, but he got a little shaky when he stepped closer, probably against his better judgment.

"Is there anything I can do to assist either of you?" he asked timidly, and boldly, Aria plopped the sphere from her drooling mouth, and let out a loud burble that she was so fond of using.
