| This is more concerning the actual RP mechanics, but. XD Just for clarity's sake and a bit of organization and breathing room.
Are we working on a turn-based system or just speed? General roleplay board etiquette leans in a system where you keep a certain posting order, and work people into it as they join threads/logs. For those unfamiliar, an example would be as follows:
Ten/Morgue trade off, then Jackoman joins the thread after Morgue's post. The posting order would then be Ten/Morgue/Jackoman. It'd be Morgue/Ten/Jackoman if Jackoman had posted after Ten. This same pattern continues when you have another addition.
The reason I suggest that, if people haven't been following it already, is because this way the thread can't run away and leave people behind (which is very much an irritating thing to happen in RP). It can stall the thread if someone's not paying attention, but that's pretty easily rectified with a PM nudge or whatever else you're comfortable doing. Just don't harass the player if you don't get an immediate response. XD
Also in this vein, it's usually easier to keep up with things if you have one individual character only in one thread at a time. I know this isn't really a "HOMGSRS" RP (so far? I dunno what you have planned, Peanut XD), but etiquette and organization really do make things more appealing.
Something else I might suggest is marking whether threads are open to other players or closed to a select few. This is more common on Livejournal communities, but sometimes it's prudent to do on boards, too. This doesn't mean EVERY thread should be closed, because that's a cruddy way of gathering up CR. XD But if it works for the thread...
One last thing: on other boards I've RP'd on, we've had an OOC (out of character) section for discussion of specific threads. Like, say one of them was titled "Loment is a Queerpants". You might title the corresponding OOC thread as "Queerpants OOC" or "Loment is a Queerpants OOC". It's pretty up in the air, there. The OOC section could be in a subsection of the forum just titled "OOC Roleplay", and have further subsections for each continent for organizational purposes. So say "Loment is a Queerpants" is happening in Darpan. "Queerpants OOC" would then be under the Darpan subsection in "OOC Roleplay".
XD Not trying to backseat board-design, just relaying some of the things that have worked and helped stabilize the various RPs I've been in so far, and things that might help this one. Totally just suggestions, so feel free to alter/ignore these. I'm also willing to explain any of these in more detail.

| XD I've just always used turn based as a rule for politeness' sake. I can understand speed in a few instances, but... Those are generally in chatrooms on Yahell, so. XD! I just worry that some people might get put off if they're just totally abandoned in a thread. It's definitely made me disinclined to post in some places, but after modding a few places and just generally playing, I also have decently high etiquette standards. XD;;;
Also, I realize that the "one character in a thread" thing sounds kind of vague, so I'mma clarify that. XD Basically, say Ysbryd is in a thread in Darpan. Because she's in a thread and hasn't left it, it wouldn't be a great idea to write her in another thread in Fellgrad, because it's kind of wonky and who knows what happens when, what experiences would happen when, etc. Personally, it just confuses the Hell out of me. XD But again, this is all just kinda me putting my experience with boards out there as to what I've seen work, mechanically speaking (ahaha, the horror stories of RP board death...). I still don't know how you wanna play the setting, Peanut (and when I say "serious RP", I mean more "we have a plot and we're gonna follow it, but that doesn't mean random crap can't happen" vs Whitespace or crack), so I don't know how much you and your mods wanna use. XD

| As for how peeps want to RP my Mods will be in charge of making the Rule boards there since I don't have any experience in Roleplaying really. (OMFG! A person who doesn't RP made an RP forum?!)
But as for Meddus itself first off I just want to create the world and its locations before I decide to add plot events and other things for peeps to use. So RP with what is given so far and fill in the gaps yourselves till I make things Canon and then you can alter in your RPs.

| Peanut- Hey, it's not that unusual. XD But that's why I was trying to be clear with how I was explaining things. XD; I'm sorry if that didn't help.
Zarashi- Lawl, that was just an example. I'm not sure what all I'mma do with her, yet.

| She isn't a Sea slug so no. So she wouldn't have to stay near water. X3 Though I wouldn't recommend tossing her out in the desert unless you want to torture the poor baby. D: | |

| 1. Organic light. Mushrooms or little animals that can be used as candles and lamps. Others would be gems that glow (stored sunlight or chemical substances) the gems need to be charged up either in the sun or at a greater primestone. 2.Reincarnation as a religious aspect, materialization out of collective Memories, more for royal individuals(can be interpreted as good or bad omen, indicator for being a special ruler ) also for common possible. (option to link past events with presently plots) | |

| 1. There indeed needs to be some light sources besides candles. Because there isn't really a light bulb. XD Well.. not a thought one anyway and it would be rare and home made. But I LOVE bioluminescence. Glowing Mushrooms, glowing crystals, and even glowy little animals. X3 I have some ideas for each... hope I get my computer back soon. There are even some races who have bioluminense. Gastrons have Glow worm variants.
2. Pillars, Rhoparan, and Lepadorans believe in reincarnation. I wouldn't mind having some older subspecies having genetic memory or hereditery memory passed down one bloodline.
