Blue and Red don't always create Purple Empty
PostSubject: Blue and Red don't always create Purple   Blue and Red don't always create Purple EmptyFri Nov 27, 2009 2:47 pm

Crystal blue orbs wrapped in a sheath of purest ebony stared into the rippling water, the image looking back up at the female being distorted, insufficient. Abruptly, a golden hand swiped angrily at the already disrupted water, ruining any hopes of getting a proper image. A small hiss of frustration was emitted from a thick throat, and the crystal blue color of the female's eyes disappeared, covered by a thin film of black to clean the eye, as she had no true eyelids. Her eyes now clean. But her body was not, and as she looked into the disturbed water again, a deep dark blue started to creep outward into the water, staining the purity of the pleasantly flowing stream.

She brought her head to the ground, and her torso followed suit, which forced her entire body to crumple, and even one of her wings to tear in the process. That wasn't good....But she wasn't feeling well, as her dark hued blood leaked from her mouth, as she had no lips. The grass bent down with the weight, almost as if the blades of yellow and red disliked her essence as it was pouring from not only her mouth, but also her throat, torso, second-abdomen, and calves.

She had hardly been able to make it to her pool, here in the Redwood of Los Tandum, near her underground lair. But she wasn't able to go any farther. She'd been attacked, though by what, she was unsure. She'd been in the hunting woods to the south, and probably had been ambushed by the folk of that region. But she had made a run for it - hating and fearing weapons of all kinds. She, obviously, did not escape unscathed.

Her ribs heaved, her normally silent breath rasping and loud. One of the weapons must've punctured a lung, to the companion wound that left her throat torn open, the purple-tinted flesh of her muscles gaping and throbbing as she bled away her life into the stream. She gave a pathetic screech, unable to do much more, for it hurt terribly.

Those hunters considered her a monster...She did not know if they could track her down, to finish the job and mount her head on a mantle, or if she would merely die and become animal fodder. She desperately hoped for the latter of the two. She would rather be eaten than laughed at and considered a prize. She was no beast....Was she?

In her mind, she doubted as she lay there, and she pondered the life she had had. Her own mother had thrown her out as a newborn, to die in the wilderness of Monsom. But she had survived, because she was so disgustingly capable of surviving, because of her strength. Now that strength had failed her, yet she still did not have her revenge on her mother.

Her lair did not have the supplied she would need to recover, so it seemed pointless to wish for some stranger to come and take her there. Well, if that did happen, she would at least be at home, where she was comfortable. But there was little chance of that, on Los Tandum. Relative to the continent's size, there were very few people.

The chances of one of those people happening upon her dying form were slight, and the chances that the person would have medical supplies enough to heal her, were even more slight. She wheezed, antennae limp, dangling in the cold stream water that could have saved her life, had she the strength to get into it. But no, as she had reached the water's edge, she had been shaking with fatigue. It was only rage that had allowed her the ability to strike with so much malice at her pathetic reflection.

She was bound to die, without help. And as a monster like herself, help was bound never to come.

Blue and Red don't always create Purple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Blue and Red don't always create Purple   Blue and Red don't always create Purple EmptyMon Dec 07, 2009 11:19 pm

The thin, humming buzz of wings was, probably the only thing that could be noted about the smaller; thinner insect who's body was being thrown through the air (Regardless of his current state of clothing) at an incredible speed. It wasn't so much as his ability to do so as it was a force of will at this point; his anger having known no bounds as he sped toward his destination. Apparently a Recall had been issued for all Agents to return. Oh joy, it'd still take months if he were forced to take any where near as many stops as he did last time.

The glass covered eyes twitch behind their coverings as he closes them; pausing his body and thus creating a buzzing whirlwind as is wings keep him aloft without wind. The muscles of his back were never weak, unlike his wife and daughter who didn't rely on their wings, he could fly for indefinite periods of time, his wife, not so much... Well, before she was slain that is.

Then he hears the screech; not... Animal, that's for certain; "Zzzzzeh hellzzzz wuzz that?", and, being a practical bug in the aplication of 'investigation' he feels like he needs to find out!

Of again! His wing beats 'thundering' behind him as speed begins to take precedence over agility; the sound had been relatively far away after all. But, it, turns out the sound wasn't far away because, when he sees the massive female type creature bleeding into a pond just short of where he'd started less than a minute ago; he almost goes into a free fall attempting to stop himself in mi- well okay so he kinda crashed into a tree trying to stop; shush. Luckily it hadn't been the mountainous cave structures that wept from the ground like pimples, weltish and horrid against the beautiful backdrop of the land.

But other than landing in a tree, his, find was; extroidi9nary to say the least! Apparently this creature was an Old Blood of some Predatory Species... He almost cackles in glee before, noting the creature was still very much alive with grievous wounds as it had!

"Mozzt eeenteresteeng...", the multiplicative syllables he had were, annoying at times. Sometimes he wished his own skills with language were far, far better than he had alotted. But, revenge was a mistress he could not ignore. However! His voice, a buzzing husk is calling out toward the queen-in-truth's rancorous form, the massive bestial fury that could be unleashed very known to him, "Hail! Are you een need of azzzzzzizzzztenzzze??", his voice is loud enough, though he comes from where she can see him...

All he needed was to be killed for doing a good deed... Or trying...

At the beckoning, if she had the voice and energy to do so she would have swiped the head clean off whoever had asked such a folly question. But as it was, she had neither, and was still on the verge of death. Well, she had about an hour, probably, of more suffering to come. Unless this idiot of his species turned out to be her savior. Oh, she'd like that...

Forcing the air through her torn throat, which thank the heavens, her major arteries and esophagus weren't grazed, which in that case, even she would have been dead on the move. No, the muscle around her neck was thick and durable, which saved her life. So far. Those thoughts distracted her, and the air she had gathered had blown out in a regular breath. She growled in her head, unable to do so in person. But, necessity forced her to try again, and aha! Success! A high pitched whine, dull and quiet, passed through her mouth, spraying a bit of blue blood out in a fan-shape.

Then she gave a softer, mostly inaudible whine as her body throbbed with her pain, reminding her just how severe her condition was. This person better be able to do something for her, if he was idiot enough to need to ASK if she needed help! That infuriated her - but she couldn't do anything about it. Besides, she needed his help, she had to settle for him handling her all over - if he had the supplies, that is.... If.

She kept the lens of her eyes over them, the light was hurting her eyes... She knew if she wanted to she could look around and find her possible-savior, but in her present condition, she'd rather not see the miserable git lest she try and murder him with her last breath.

Blue and Red don't always create Purple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Blue and Red don't always create Purple   Blue and Red don't always create Purple EmptyWed Dec 09, 2009 6:19 am

The blue skinned Ptyregon always carried with him the supplies needed to fix many a normal person! But with this creature's size even he was daunted by the challenge. However, his coat is thrown away; he'd need to get messy to even begin the task of saving the creature; his weapon too was discarded for the moment too, it might frighten the poor beast. Lens covered eyes look the form up and down, he acting on knowledge of most species of creatures (He was a learned man after all), he quickly applie gentle pressure to he torn apart throat; his eyes narrowing before looking toward the beastly creature in silence, "Promizzzz you will not keeel me and I vill helpz you.", though he knew this promise was assured if she stilled.

Though he wastes no time in waiting, blood had already poured over his hands, his eyes narrowing as he mutters, "Tense your neck, it will hurt...", not like any doctor anyone had met that's for sure. His fingers do not pinch the flesh together; that would form too ragged of a scar; instead, he pulls the fleshm apart to get to the ripped apart Trachea; his eyes analyzing the situation before he grumbles, "I might not have enough thread to get all of your woundzzz.... But you will at least not die before I can get back once I am donezzzzz with thizzzzzzzzz one...."

So, with that he begins to pull what appears to be jars from his waist, his eyes looking toward the creature's head as he mutters; starting the process of dulling the pain enough so she won't at least feel his intruisions into her body in such a vulnerable place. The salve stings, it was going to hurt as he said, but almost as soon as it stings the effect was a numbness that perferated even bone; what he was using was not the normal 'pain salves' of doctors, but a high yield drug that had almost the same effect on the entire body in a normal sized meddean. Given her size and her weight, she might feel dull all around, though; this was but the first step; he was praying to himself she didn't think herself well to move! He would hate to end up a snack!

Honor was the thing of the old bloods - and though she herself was not a true one, she had labled her mutated hide as such and adopted their policies. She did not give her spoken word - it would have been impossible, in both that she could not speak common words with the blood pooling through her mouth, and the swift action the person had taken to assist her.

Weakly, as the cooling stuff started to affect her entire body (how, she didn't know, but it wasn't her place to know. That was academic, she was predatory), excluding the extremities of course, she brought an antennae up as she felt the figure working. Softly, the tip of her long antennae touched the supposed cheek of the person. It was cold, and utterly smooth...Metal? Reluctantly, she slid back the lens to gaze at her soon-to-be savior.

She let her antennae fall again as she no longer needed it - and felt the faint chill from the water.

He was different....But not in the way she was different. He hid himself, while she could not. She had to touched a silver-colored mask, with a pointed end and green goggle-lenses. but other than that, she couldn't really observe much, not that she wanted to. Her neck was numb, her head fuzzy, and her chest the same with her legs uncomfortably buzzing.

She wouldn't harm him - if anything, she owed him big time for this. She'd probably preform some service for him, being a bodyguard, breaking in somewhere...

The reason for the oddly colored lenses was obvious, it allowed him to work with even her blood blocking the views of what he was supposed to do. Black blood turns purest night, blue turns green, flesh meets bone and all other in between. But, he is quick, fingers though clad in gloves are deft, needle point blurring, arterial spray insuing, he holding off on her neck while attempting to clamp shut the wound's unhealed edges. His face is sweaty with gray sweat, he grumbling lowly as he begins to suture the real wound to her neck with a grimacing pain that came from ramming the needle into his thumb.

But he cries out not; instead, even going so far as to ignore the antennae even as he begins to wipe away the blood; the clear the wound.

Her vein was saved for now, easily repaired due to it's size and position, though, now he began to look though the wound for any other damages... Instead, finding a long, sliver of wood.

"... Hunterzzz... Zhey fuckink stoopeed hunterzzz.... They deed thizz? They attacked a specimen of great importantzzz withoutzzzzzz reportingzzz!?", the audible rage in his voice was quieted before he strokes a hand along her neck, a gentle, calming gesture before he'd begin to sew her ravaged neck together again. He had the string for that, he had the material he needed to at least allow her to drink and eat correctly for a time, even if she was hurt and the stuff wasn't disolved. It'd be far better than nothing given her ragged hole of a throat right now.

"Izzzz done soooooonzzzz done sooooonz.", his voice was a soft, quiet thing when he spoke to the monstrous female.

Not fearful.

Soft.
