Personality: Royal Thorn constantly has to contain his Dark Hyme aggressive behavior for the more gentle Ent Hymes way of life. Therefore he is gentle and gives the impression of being insecure but quickly becomes confident once he gets the feel of a situation or is with someone who makes him feel safe. Though he is King Vaas' co-ruler, Thorn usually does not try to rule or give orders as he does not feel it is his place (was just a soldier in his old hive). However, if he is asked directly to make a decision or is put in a position where he needs to give orders he will.

Unique features: Royal Thorn is easy to differ from Soldier Thorn by the long horn on his nose plate and slightly more curved 'ram horn' antennae. Wears a cape (when not flying) and a Jeweled belt to show his status. Thorn's horn growth is due to a hormone produced by King Vaas and is absorbed by his intended mate from intercourse. Over time it accumulates and causes the 'Queen' form.
Note: Dark Hyme Royals have the long horn on their nose plate. Ent Hyme form gets a large furry collar and longer 'horn' antennae.
