Powers: Earthquakes are his nightmares, Tremors his Fitful Sleep, Lava his Blood, a Volcano a wound!

Location: The Core of the Planet
Territory: Shard
Believers: Most Scarabin in Shard believe in him.

Mythos: Mythological, after all; a good myth is needed right?

When Meddus was forming, the gods held many a duel- Korr, the powerful warrior and tireless lover of the sky goddess Fiir was challenged by the cursed god Dekom into a duel. Now, Korr's exploits in taming the sky goddess to be his mate were feats unto themselves. But this battle was long, arduous, and eventually self defeating. each missed blow caused a canyon, each parry lightening, sweat created oceans, and eventually their heated breath clouds. But onward they fought, for the challenge was to take the Sky Goddess' hand.

Dekom lost, but not before cursing Korr, the ever tireless, to be the ever tired! To sleep, to rest, to be weary. And so, as the Demonic god only laughed as he was forced into the bleeding heart of the world; that, Korr, even as he began to succumb to the curse, struck upon an idea- and over twelve days and twelve tireless weeks of passion. A cage, not of any metal meddus would know, was formed, and through the years modified, to contain the damned and his horde of worshippers.

Korr, forever more, would sleep around the cage, like a bear in hibernation, for when the Jailed one is freed. So he might lay the beast low and finally rest in peace.

Deity Form

Name: mal'ak ha-mashḥit ( Mal depending on his mood)

Appearance:

Race: God

Racial Species: Hyme... though he's...interesting

Occupation: Death and Dreaming

Powers: He is the Lord of all dreaming, the twisted neverlands of the sleeper are his to comand and manipulate, he can induce sleep, and influence dreams as well as appear or dwell with in them. King of Death he is the bringing of life's end, his touch and breath can leech the life out of any living thing and within him he holds the souls of his own that have passed. He has the power to change his shape into that of a strange black bird as well as travel the physical and spiritual worlds along with the world of dreams. A chilled wind rides his heals and at times he can manifest a storm of biting, hooking chains with which to punish should he see fit to use more then his body. Telepathic and telekenetic abilities ( he moves things with his mind) and the ability to drain life from a short distance. ( He dosn't need to touch)

Associated with:Lightning, cold water, darkness, the new moon, pain, blood (the stains left on old floors) dust, the eyes, bones, and thorn bushes.

Location: He has his own pocket within the spirit world but often takes on a method of living within both Meddus and the spirit world.

Territory: Specifically worshiped by the Emperor Hive, though some other random Meddians have taken to his flock.

Believers: Same as above really, He is worshiped by the Emperor and his hive as well as many other random individuals. Usualy though only those who seek death, are near to it or have seen it on a regualr basis will find him visiting their dreams, otherwise he sticks to his usual followers and their twisting dreamworld pathways.

Personality: Mal is not often a kind individual, though he is patient. His sense of humor is often said to be sadistic and it would be the truth, dark and sometimes brooding.

Likes:Dreams, cool nights and summer rain, nights when the moon is missing from the sky and all is silent, the scent of burial grounds.

Dislikes: Desicration of graves, improper burials, the sun at high noon, people who talk to much.

When the Earth mother stood upon an unmarked burial mound she felt a pain grow with in her belly and slowly she felt life's blood spill down her thighs, understanding now she had become a woman and, unlike before must suffer pain and leave childhood behind.
This saddened the earth mother, and she hung her head a weapt, those tears fell to the soil along with her woman's blood and snaked through the ground to the lonely bones burried there.
The ground shived like the flesh of a horse and soon she gazed on as a massive heap of blood soaked bones clawed itself free from the mud to stand before her.
As she watched the bones took form and flesh and fur and soon a massive male gazed down at her with endless eyes filled with the moon and the abyss of night and she nodded for in him she saw a God and named him and found in him her first child...born of blood, death and lost dreams..

mal'ak ha-mashḥit rested his clawed hand upon the mother's forehead and as a gift for she gave him life, he took from her the seed of nightmares and planted it with in himself so it would grow in him rather then fester in her, he granted her that when ever she laid down to rest only sweet dreams would dance into her beaing, and she would be forever removed from the terror that sleeping so often brings.

Please put where the Emperor's Hive is... And you will want to give that Hive a specific name so that I may put it on a map one day. X3
Other then that approved. As I believe I saw a sneak peak of him before.

Name: Thanatos (Thana or Thanat for short)
Titles: Death Bringer, Shadow Lord, Bloody Dragon, Red Death, etc.
Occupation: Patron to all things Dromos, and some Arachin. This includes the little Acari, Psuedoscorpions. He is, blatantly, the scapegoat god for these people. If a Dromos were to attack or murder another race other than those Thanatos is patron to, they could say that Thanatos possessed them, and bid them do the act. He is father to all things bloody in the Dromos mind, and is the pure embodiment of these things. He protects all dromos and nurtures them, as his more caring personality.
Powers: Plagues in both disease and insect(spider, scorpion, and tick) forms, death in sleep, and the ability to drag ones body and soul down to the shadow realm to be either tortured or devoured.

Racial Species: Dromos
Associated with: Night terrors (nightmares), Death, Shadows, Blood, Plague, the color red or black, disease, rot, fungi, illness.
Location: Shadow realm
Territory: non-specific to locale, originated in Thule's Blood Ravine.
Believers: Originated with the ancestors of the Dromos, Arachin and Acari; those who wish to believe in Thanatos simply do. Believing in him is the meddian's choice alone, or family upbringing. He holds no specific grudge against those who he is patron to, that don't believe in him. He simply protects those who do. He was first worshiped in the depths of the Blood Ravine on Thule, before it split. Grimm has the largest amount of followers of the Death Bringer, but cults, or single followers can be found...anywhere...Even in the races he is bound to slaughter. Old bloods and Ancients have been found to worship him, alongside new bloods of other races, though, this is a death wish in itself.
Appearance: head-sketch and tentative colors; , full-body WIP.
Personality: Generally apathetic, but when around females or children he is patron to, can become very protective and makes a constant rumble in his throat. Males he is patron to he can become protective as well, but mostly he becomes somewhat talkative, or as talkative as a god with two pairs of tusks can get. Around those he is not patron to, they had best leave his sight, smell, and hearing. He will give fair warning, but otherwise they will be brutally slain.
Likes: Dromos, Acari, Arachin, drinking blood (he will drink nothing else, and will never drink any older than a day), tearing into flesh, ripping other races apart by the limbs, stabbing or slashing a victim to death, or torturing his victims.
Dislikes: Races other than his own, especially Rhoparan and Lepidoran. (explained in mythos).
Mythos:

Once, there was a time without death. And that time was short...Life was too bountiful, all was green and growing, and a single being surrounded this lush planet of green named after her. She was called Mother Meddus; her eyes were suns, her skin was the blackness of the night, the shimmer of her wings were the stars. She was the giver of life. But to all life, lives a shadow, and from that shadow came a being so bloody that the Mother cast him, unformed, to the inner core of her world, so scared was she. There the formless shadow that had received life, of course grew, and festered. There, a creature crawled down into the shadow from the lush green, and was enveloped by it. This creature never saw the light of the Mother again. It had died, and upon doing so the shadow was inspired by it's own selfish power, and took the form that pleased it so. It lay there for years, until it was strong enough to dig it's way out of the shadows and earth, trailing blood in it's wake. As it burst forth from the earth, the area around it perished. It looked at the moon and screamed bloody murder, and the Mother knew she had done wrongly by refusing the shadow. The child once just shadow, had become so smothered in blood and death, from a single creature, morphing it so dangerously - the Mother could not bear her children all killed by it. She used her powers and tried to instill peace and serenity in the beast staring at her so angrily. The beast was not easily subdued, and the serenity manifested only for the creature that first gave him form, a scorpion. Thus, he stilled for the moment, only hissing and screaming his fury to the skies. He crawled back to the earth, harboring a special hatred for rhoparan and lepidoran alike. From there he invaded lives in the darkest hours of night, slaughtering in the name of his children. He drug down populations and devoured them all in a thing dubbed extinction, by mortals. He breathed plagues of rot and death upon crops and villages both, and gouged rivets in the earth where the people stood. Above all of this, he protected his children. Infant, toddler, teenage, adult and elderly, he coddled them and gave them strength in his own name. In the name of Thanatos, the Death Bringer.
