| So everyone gets a chance to critique my work :3 First up is the image I did of Emal's life cycle: And this is the life cycle for pretty much all the males. I'll be working on the female's life cycle next. Oh, and sorry if I didn't draw a really old damselfly, I just couldn't figure out how to make the 'beard' work. | |

| Posting it here first, though this image will also be in my character's profile section too. And again feel free to comment on this image or the last one. I'd like to blame Powergirl from the Superman and Batman Public Enemies movie for me giving Volo big boobs and a tiny waist. I'd also like to blame Ceesev, cause I think he reached out at me a little bit, and made me realize he's a lot like his mom. Also the coloring. She was originally going to be blue too, but then I thought, 'it doesn't make sense for Ceesev to be green and orange faced if both his parents are blue.' So I changed her colors, and now she looks fiery instead of motherly. Also, I wanted to add stripes to her eyes, like the real damselfly I based her on, but it didn't look right. Oh well, I still liked how she turned out overall. | |

| Both of them are awesome. I'm glad that you didn't go with blue for Volo, since she looks great in those colors. | |

| On second thought, I'll just add the updated version of one of the backgrounds here so it doesn't have to be deleted and no hassle is created for Peanut :3 This is the day time setting. Now all I got left are the night and storm settings X3

| Oh, just wondering if I should make this a pet of the brothel? It's a mix between a cat and a spider that I like to call a spat :3 Ignore my nasty hand writing X3 | |

| Any comments on the coloring? I struggled most with Danix's believe it or not. So much blue! Ceesev was more fun to color :3 | |

| Just letting you guys know there's a new background up in one of these replies. It's the receptionist hall for Lotus Springs Brothel. Please comment and let me know what you think, I'd really appreciate it. | |

| Forgot to post these. It's the same background, just in different colors :3 Night time. During a storm. Now to finish Pavilious' turnaround, and then the props. I'll be doing other buggy stuff outside these school assignments though, don't worry! But is there anything in particular you guys want me to do? A drawing of the brothel house? An example of one of the rooms? A specific scene? I might give requests later now that I'm thinking about it. | |

| Right, specifically Lotus Springs Brothel House. This is the reception hall. The original colored one for daytime is above in another reply. | |

| Lotus Springs is just what the water way is called. There are villages around it in the Bamboo Steps. That is where the brothel would be in one of those.
Also please add some Oriental influence as that is the theme of mainland Darpan. You don't have to alter a whole lot. If you make more pictures of other rooms just add some paper lanterns or Asian Bamboo potted plant to give it the Darpan feel. Otherwise from the look of it right now I would have to ask you to move it to Fellgrad or Grimm.

| Lotus Springs Brothel House is the title of the building itself, not it's location. So yes, the building is in a village on the Bamboo Steps. Arghs, I need to explain better X3
And I have no problem with changing some details. Adding in some Oriental lanterns would probably be best. But just to be sure, the owner of the brothel house, Gluren, originates from Vunvava, which I remember you suggesting had more of a Dutch influence. Should that effect the way the place is decorated at all?
And do I have to rid of the lanterns I have so far? I've grown attached to them X3

| Woops. Thought I had commented on that. No they do not. As they do look similar to some cast iron and stone ones used in feudal Japan. | |

| Yay!! Moving on, do you have any suggestions towards making this look more like feudal Japan? Oh wait, you suggested bamboo earlier. Do I need just that, or something else too? | |

| You already have western banasters but that is alright. Just make sure you have an Asian style roof and plants around it. Then the rest of the outside doesn't really matter if it looks western.
Inside is the same just add Oriental decorations here and there. That will sufficiently make is asian themed enough to pass. Rice paper sliding doors are preffered inside. But heavy wooden knocker doors also work. But not modern door knobbed doors.

| New and improved background! Sorry it took so long, had a lot of homework to get through first. I think this background is a lot more welcoming than the last one. Thank you for all your suggestions Peanut :3 I had used Illustrator and still had the original file so it was easy to delete the banister and replace it with the new one. Sorry that the image is so big ^^; | |
