Personality: Soft-hearted, intelligent, but never speaks his mind because he can't speak. Due to a ceremony of his clan, when he was born he was put through the infant-equivalent of torture, having his voice box removed without natural anesthetics or sedatives. He lost his screams as they took it from him, so he would be later initiated at age 8 to be an acolyte to his gods, which he would quickly progress into a high-priest and earn his freedom from the waterfall caves at age 16. The reason for his speech being taken from him was a paranoia that the priests have with their gods, and they forcefully take the voice of their future members, which Hakizimana was destined to be, since his father was the Monarch, and wouldn't have his son doing anything other than priest-hood. This silence was to preserve the gods' secrets, so the child would eventually be permitted free roam with the knowledge of the gods, yet not be perverse with the wisdom.

Personality: Willow is frighteningly intelligent, and prefers to think things out, rather than attack like the soldiers, though she has been known to bite folk who angered her to a point. She is totally blind - with no eyes to speak of, and takes favor to wearing a blue veil over her face so not to disturb others too much by the lack of even vestigial eyes. She cares a great deal for the arts, and others, though her mate Alkanet was originally not given the same caring, as Willow and Willow's soldier companion Ash tore his wings off, and Willow proceeded to 'extract' his sperm in order to become a full-fledged queen...After which she treated him better, though he is not permitted to leave the nest. Ever. Willow is a reasonable young Meddian, however, and she will always try to give dues to those who have earned them.

Personality: Miu is daring, confident, but caring. She will let you know if you've done something wrong, even when its only in her head. However, she does not do this is a crude fashion, instead, she coaxes one into realizing they have made a mistake, rather than saying flat out "You've done this, this, and this wrong. Do them again". This is from her caring for the Queen of her hive, who needs gentle care, rather than stiff words.

Personality: Nyx is generally carefree, but he is very curious, and his curiosity is known to get him into heaps of trouble. For this reason, Haphae tends to keep Nyx on a short leash, while still attempting to let the lad have a normal childhood and training to become his apprentice in smithing as well. Nyx is very polite, but in his politeness he is known to ask crude things as innocently as possible, and is quite naive of the implications of his actions. Once he asked a noble in the market how babies were made, of course while Haphae's back was turned, and the fluffy lepidoran woman sputtered and wound up never speaking to another Acari or dromos again in her life.
Likes: (food) Whatever Haphae will feed him, excluding veggies, bleh! (activities) playing mindless games like hopscotch and toying with picture puzzles. He loves to put things together, so long as they're pretty simple, and cooking with Mango.

Unique features: Nyx, for his small and squat stature, is a little barrel of lean muscle. Small glands on the inside of his pincers provide a deadly weapon, except that he doesn't exactly know how to control the administration yet. He can take down things his weight and a little more, but since he is so small, and his pincers so large, it is hard for him to move around quickly. To solve this problem, often he rides on Haphae or Mango's shoulders when outside.
