Giant techno nose house ftw! x3 Though I don't think it would fit in with the steampunk style you said you wanted Meddus to have. Unless you want some parts of Darpan to be more technologically advanced the the rest o the world, like modern-day Japan.

The termite nest kinda looks like something that would be used for a citadel of evil

The ants, hmmm.. mining facility or giant underground city?

And I think a city made of web in the trees might be a fun idea to kick around, but then again it's supposed to be just protection for the maggots or larve that make them, so it won't be much of a city if no one can get in.

I'm just talking about the architecture not the lighting and crap in it. Sheesh. Of coarse it would need some changes to be more Meddus compatable. And that wouldn't be for Darpan. That house isn't even Japanese. Plus Steam Punk isn't the level of tech in all places.

Hm, they remind me of the Hobbit houses in Lord of the Rings.
Expecially when I burned them in the Conquest game. >3
