There is little you can do to make him angry, pardoning the offense of his gods. Even that is a feat in itself, to gain such offense. In Mirror Meddus, he is regal and elegant, with amazing grace for one his size.

Personality: Haphae is a gentle giant to the extreme. If he even accidentally knocks someone littler than him over, he'll be feeling guiltier than the most sorry servant in a king's household. He is very sensitive, and takes offense easily, though he only just goes off and sulks to himself if he is. He is devoted to his art and trade, and hardly anything will deterr him from working. All are welcome in his shop, until you prove yourself unworthy in his eyes, which, is a feat in itself. He has a soft spot for both men an women, though he finds it difficult to find love due to his unusual size for his race. Another difficulty is he is awful shy, which is why it is odd for him to be in such a high trafficked, highly populated area. Due to this, he almost never leaves his home during the day.

Personality: Rescen in this world is significantly more passive and willing to please. He is by the book with his duty, and hates to disobey rules. He is still as sweet and quick-witted as ever, with an intelligent mind for reading, writing, poetry, song and art. He is wholly dedicated to Samael, though he does have his moments with Alkanet the apocrin.

Dislikes: (things) Samael angry with him, being punished. (activities) physical activity besides what Samael does with him.

Unique features: Rescen, in Mirror, lacks the royal pheromone that he naturally developed in his hive in regular meddus; thus he loses special traits that he has because of it. In Mirror he has dull / rounded spikes (on his knees and elbows), no second abdomen which would be used to store extra nourishment for a pregnant bee to secure that the baby / mother lives.
Samael in mirror, also has servants clean and cut Rescen's wings, daily, as the hive is underground and the only way to escape is by flight. All those who are not allowed to leave the hive have their wings 'clipped', and depending on their race, have them clipped routinely.

Though his clan is strictly scarabin, he is known for his hospitality and offering shelter to those who show themselves on the island, as long as they themselves are hospitable company.

Unique features: Mandarin is very hard of hearing.. however, he can detect vibrations through the second set of 'nostrils', and understand mostly what people are telling him, if they are a reggular meddian. It is difficult for him to understand anyone with a strong accent. He can understand all other scarabin because, well, let's face it, they almost always have deep, strong voices that rumble.
